Holden Home
1100 James Street

Charles Demarest Holden was a local coal dealer and vice-president of the board of trustees at Syracuse University. This picture was taken in the early 1960's, just before the house was torn down to make way for a motel. When the motel went out of business, it was converted to an assisted living facility.

This picture of the interior was taken in the 1950's.
