Kirk Fireproof Building
Download 1963 high-resolution image (17 meg.) The Kirk Fireproof Building (later known as the City Bank Building) was built by William B. Kirk who was Mayor of Syracuse and Vice President of both the New Process Hind Company and the Kirk Brick Company. It was designed for the site by architect Charles E. Colton and completed in 1897. This building was torn down in 1970 to make way for the two and a half block "One Lincoln Center" project which includes the Chase Lincoln First Bank building. |
